Halloween drawings

here's another one of bobby.   hes fun to draw.   i think it would really look a lot like him if it was in color.   it does look like him anyway but color would be better
this spacey young fellow wanted to be playing bajo and riding a unicorn.   it was a fun time drawing and talking to him
this couple searched me out!  wow, it feels so good that they wanted one from me.
this young kid kind of had a sour face the whole time
here is another one of dave...hahaha.    sometimes he says he likes them,  sometimes he says he doesn't.   He stares at them a lot when he works there.    I put this one in a demo frame and then when he was working at that stand and I wasn't, he took it back out of the frame.   It feels good that they definitly strike a cord with him.   That must mean he can see it to.    I made it raining candy corn, because I think candy corn is such a wierd invention and it just seems like what might fall from the sky in davids world...plus its halloween time.

"Sometimes it happens that a person can name the exact moment when his or her life changed irrevocably. For Cleve Backster, it was early morning on February 2, 1966, at thirteen minutes, fifty-five seconds of chart time for a polygraph he was administering. One of the world's experts on polygraphs, and the creator of the Backster Zone Comparison Test, the standard used by lie detection examiners worldwide, Backster had threatened the subject's well-being in hopes of triggering a response. The subject had responded electrochemically to this threat. The subject was a plant."
This is from a Derrick Jensen book also, but you can do a search for more information on these and other fascinating experiments that can only change every hypothesis of what westerners consider to be alive and conscious. In light of what he has proven here, it's not much of a stretch to imagine the Giai hypothesis that the entire earth is alive with consciousness. Some native tribes have reported that they see everything as alive, the rocks the rivers and trees, and that the white man sees everything as dead and there for the taking , the rocks the rivers and the trees and sometimes the white man doesn't even see some other people as alive. Since that test Mr. Backster has done many many tests with plants and had amazing discoveries. They are experiments that you can even recreate yourself and you can find out why sciences narrow rigidity won't allow the tests to be accepted.

the meaning of meaning

" WHAT'S THE POINT?  Is it to accumulate wealth?  If you were to ask 10,000 people if their main goal is to accumulate wealth and material possessions, the overwhelming majority would say 'no'.  But if the answer to this question were  to be based not on their words, but on how they spend most of their waking hours, the answer would be a resounding 'yes'."

"What if the point of life has nothing to do with the creation of an ever-expanding region of control?  What if the point is not to keep at bay all those people, beings, objects, and emotions that we so needlessly fear?  What if the point instead is to let go of that control?  What if the point of life, the primary reason for existence, is to lie naked with your lover in a shady grove of trees?  What if the point is to taste each other's sweat and feel the delicate pressure of finger on chest, thigh on thigh, lip on cheek?  What if the point is to stop, then, in your slow movements together, and listen to birdsong, to watch dragonflies hover, to look at your lover's face, then up at the undersides of leaves moving together in the breeze?  What if the point is to invite these others into your movement, to bring trees, wind, grass, dragonflies into your family and in so doing abandon any attempt to control them?  What if the point all along has been to get along, to relate, and experience things on their own terms?  What if the point is to feel joy when joyous, love when loving, angerwhen angry, thoughtful when full of thought?  What if the point from the beginning has been to simply be?"

That was from "A Language Older Then Words" by Derrick Jensen and I completely agree with this guy and what he has to say.    We should all feel pretty silly for all the times we have passed on these things and on real life or love for more school or work or more money.   Silly is to nice of a word for how we should feel about selling our lives and our friendships.
Anyway, I miss everybody out there and all the friends along the way.   I hope to see you all again.

Speaking of missing good friends,  Thanks to Kaitlynn for starting to teach me something about watercolor and making swirly designs.   My best art teacher and friend this summer.   Luck and love.  I will see you again.
